Craig’s Corner

Before you decide on what stand you are going to hunt, take into account where the sun is.  Nothing will put you down faster than the sun in your face!  Don’t let this happen to you…

The Monday after Thanksgiving 1995 bow hunt in Edmonson County, KY quickly turned into a coyote hunt.  Craig and I got to the woods late, so we picked a spot to begin our stalk.  Craig had brought a set of rattling antlers, after the second rattling sequence two coyotes appeared on the ridge.  Within seconds a third coyote was within thirty yards.  Craig put the antlers between his legs and drew his bow.  He delivered the fatal shot and the coyote spun a couple of times and dropped in front of us.
